Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
How about love?
How about love?
How about love? Measure in love
Sweet and so cheesy, right? Dear God, let me be reincarnated as Idina Menzel.
We didn't have a year, but we did have 57,600 minutes together. Non-stop. Yep. NON-STOP. Because life is not a musical, measuring this time together purely with "love", while a nice thought, would just not be reality. Let's take a look at the numbers, shall we?
40 days
13 flights
5 ferries
1 overnight bus (Paul put is foot down after trying it)
10 hotels/guest houses
1 motorcycle ( I put my foot down after trying it:)
15 lbs gained between the 2 of us. That means:
45,000 calories were consumed that we not essential for survival. Gross.
450- the number of miles we need to run to loose the 15 lbs. Double gross.
15- the number of meals IN A ROW that Paul ordered pad thai
3 KO's at Muay Thai boxing our last night in Bangkok. I saw 0.

10 books read
1519 pictures taken
1120 pictures while wearing either a pink/ white shirt or with a yellow scarf. Sorry.
0- number of times I doubted my ridiculously good choice of husband. Phew:) Still though...
2 fights.... Did I mention 57,600 minutes together. NON-STOP.
There are, of course, those things that are unquantifiable.
A forever changed world view and how/where you fit
New experiences, smells, sounds, colors, people
Fears faced
Smiles
Laughter
And as cheesy as it is...
Love
Sending a bunch of that to all of you. Thanks for taking an interest in our travels.
